Here are December 2024's DMV restaurant sales metrics!
When looking at the monthly averages, Fast Casual came in at 0% and Full Service at +2% growth compared to December 2023 sales.
On a seven-day moving average, Fast Casual sales ended the month at -1%, while Full Service ended at 0% compared to last year for the same period. Holiday sales were strong for Full Service, peaking at around 5% growth compared to last year, and saw positive growth for most of the month.
Sales from DMV and nationwide delivery services accounted for 12% of total sales this month, the same as last month.
December was a great month for Full Service and we're looking forward to seeing a clearer picture of New Year's sales next month when we have January's numbers. We'll see you in February!
